Just an old school burger joint.. Nothing special. Char-Grill
I have however fallen in love with Bad Daddy's Burger Bar.. I know its an over priced chain but....

I live less than 1/8 mi from a Char-Grill in Durham...
May want to give Elevation Burger a try - it's in Brier Creek. And Bull City in downtown Durham is good...and Chucks....and...
Bad Daddy's looks legit.

I've only been here a year. I'm not close to any Cook-Outs, but I roll in whenever I pass one. If you don't always get a shake, get the Cheerwine float. AMAZING!

Word. I'll be out of town this month, but Raleigh C&C is the 3rd Saturday of every month at the Raleigh Grande. Torchinsky (of actual Jalopnik staff fame) lives in Chapel Hill now, but I've not seen the Beetle in the flesh yet.
